Medicine Making, Wild Abundance Sept 2023

Wild Abundance Carpentry Course, North Carolina  - May 2023

A weekend of women helping women build stuff.

    I spent five days here with 25 other women learning basic carpentry. It was an amazing time of learning, sharing skills, and getting close to nature. I'll be back in September.

    One of mine was sweeping out the outhouse. These eco-outhouses are so much nicer than those traditional chemical based ones.

    I didn't get a chance to get to know everyone here. But everyone I met was so interesting and kind. Everyone has a story and I would have loved more time to learn theirs.

Road Trip Complete Oct 3, 2023
 390 days on the road has come to an end. It will take time to reflect on what an experience it was to spend a year on the road in the USA. I have a new found love for the place despite all of its political divisiveness that one sees in the media. We  put all of that aside and just drove; taking in  all of the different terrains and personalities, small towns, vast deserts, high plains, and smoky mountains . We met people from all walks of life and in the end, most everyone is just trying to find a little piece of the world where they can exist safely. I love the USA and have a much deeper appreciation for the people and the places they call their homes.


Hey friends, family, and  the odd soul that accidentaly landed here.  This site begins May 2023 though we've been on the road since September 2022.

We've hit almost all of the continental United States and will probably see them all by the time we head home though not sure when that will be. As of June 6 we only have Utah and Michigan to hit. Utah will be on our way to British Columbia where will we spend much of the summer on Vancouver Island. If you're in BC this summer - drop a line!
